The purpose of these sessions is creating a safe, private and non-judgmental space for you to openly explore what’s going on for you in any area of your life. The level of personal disclosure is entirely at your discretion – it is generally not necessary to delve into the past. Our dialogue will be focused on the here & now and how to be at your best, more often – simply by understanding how the mind works. You may bring any topic important to you. We can go further, faster when you feel safe to explore both personal and professional themes, as they arise.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if this session is for me? You are likely to feel drawn to connect, like a pull in your torso that this is something you want to do, even if you feel unsure or nervous or not too sure why. When there is inner resonance like that it’s usually a helpful sign you have found something that can make a big difference in your life. We can then have a chat and explore whether and how to engage together in a coaching relationship.
Do I need to do anything before our session? There is nothing to do before or after our sessions unless you choose to. Some clients like to think about an important topic to focus on and to prepare a few minutes before the call in order to tune out of other activities, e.g. with deep breathing. Many clients come to sessions unsure what they want to discuss and ironically they can be the richest and most enlightening moments.
Are these sessions confidential? Yes. All sessions and any note taking are confidential throughout. The only rare exception, mandated by the International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) code of ethics, is if there is risk of harm to yourself or others, then we are morally and officially obliged to share the concern with third party professionals eg Doctor, Therapist, Police and a Supervisor.
How is this different to other courses or coaching? We don’t waste time going round in circles with familiar thinking, we get stuck into your understanding of how to make things happen in the simplest, most effective way possible. We spend time together sparking new thoughts and fresh perspectives that shift the way you operate at work.
